Jeffrey P. Levine
Jeff Levine's primary responsibility is sales and marketing of client funds. He has over 25 years of experience in various aspects of the private equity industry. Jeff plays a role in the firm's selection process and due diligence efforts related to new business opportunities and aids in the creation of client marketing and due diligence materials. He is also the firm's expert on fund administration and operations. He brings a wealth of experience in administering funds, overseeing the back office and accounting functions of limited partnerships, and communicating with limited partners.
Before joining Thomas Capital Group, Jeff worked for CIGNA Corporation for over nine years, most recently as a portfolio analyst on CIGNA's $20 billion stable value portfolios with TimesSquare Capital Management, Inc. Prior to this, Jeff was responsible for the accounting and analytical functions of CIGNA's buyout funds, serving as CFO for these funds. He also performed analytical work for underlying deals in the fund's portfolio, comprising assets aggregating nearly $1 billion. His responsibilities included tracking performance, overseeing accounting and cash management functions, preparing budgets and marketing of the funds. He played a key role in maintaining fund-related communications with limited partners including overseeing the timely delivery of high quality quarterly and annual portfolio and financial reporting. He began his career as an accountant with KPMG.
Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst, and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a double major in accounting and finance from Bryant University. He holds series 7, 63, 79, 24 and 27 registrations.
